Well Near A Straight Impervious Boundary

The problem of a well near a long straight impervious boundary (e.g. a mountain ridge or fault) is solved in a similar manner as that of a well near a straight river. In this case, the type of image well is a sink rather than a source as shown in Figure 9.6.6.
