Compressors

The standard for compressors requires (1) using mechanical seals equipped with a barrier fluid system and control degassing vents or (2) enclosing the compressor seal area and venting emissions through a closed-vent system to a control device. These systems provide control efficiencies approaching 100% (Colyer and Mayer 1991).
