Air Toxics Control in Some European Countries

Most western countries have some control program for U.S. criteria pollutants. Inter-country transport of air pollutants is a subject of study and concern. However, in most European countries, control of toxic air pollutants is not yet the subject of a regulatory program. Sweden has an action program to reduce or ban the use of harmful chemicals.
