The actual working conditions of ABS are difficult to simulate for test purposes and it is normal practice for the ABS computer to have quite a large self-diagnosis capacity. Figure 6.21 shows the extent of the fault analysis data that is available through the diagnostic link of a fairly recent Lexus vehicle.
